Parade of Homes kicks off with VIP party
The Niagara County Builders Association is currently hosting their eleventh annual multiple-site home show, the Parade of Homes 2005. The event kicked off on September 16 with a VIP party at Kitchen World in Lockport. Niagara County’s finest builders, remodelers, and suppliers were joined by a host of local politicians and media partners for an evening of celebrating the home building industry in Niagara County Those in attendance had the opportunity to view first hand the 49 beautiful decorated displays at Kitchen World’s new location at 5879 Transit Road. The jazz band, Metro, provided live entertainment, while the dinner catered by Donna Eick received rave reviews from partygoers. During the brief program, Niagara County Legislative Chairman Bill Ross presented a proclamation to NCBA President Stan Swogier and Parade of Homes co-chairs Bill Burg and Rachel Leo. Ross praised the local building industry for its enormous positive impact on Niagara County’s economy.
