Our meeting this month is the most important meeting we hold all year. This is because we elect our Officers and Board Members who will run your association for the next year or two. Please note the change in location of our meeting - John's Flaming Hearth. Our meal will consist of a full course New York Strip Steak dinner including John's famous Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie. The cost will be $25 inclusive. We must have your reservation by Friday, November 5th to assure proper seating arrangements and food preparation. Please call Jim or Jenny at the Builders Office (283-0557) or fax them to us at 283-0733. Please take a minute upon your receipt of this notice to call in your reservation.

Election

Enclosed with this bulletin is a sample ballot, which will be used in the voting on November 10th. These are the slate of Officers and Board Members selected by the nominating committee. Please note we will have five positions to fill for the Board of Directors. This is due to the resignation of Doug Marcinski who was transferred by Ryan Homes. Please note that the candidate receiving the lesser number of votes will have a one year term expiring December 31st, 2005. The other candidates will have a two-year term through December 31st, 2006. Both the Officers and Board members will be installed at our annual Christmas Party.

Nominations from the floor will be accepted and retired members are invited to cast their vote. If you are unable to attend dinner but would like to vote, stop by for a drink and complete your ballot. If you cannot attend the meeting you can arrange to vote by absentee bvallot on Monday, November 8th or Tuesday November 9th by contacting Jim Fitz-Patrick at 283-0557 or by stopping by the Builders Office located at his home at 212 70th Street in Niagara Falls. Your completed ballot will be placed in a sealed envelope and given to the nominating committee on election night.

Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas party and Basket Auction will be held on December 8th 2004 at Suzanne's Fine Dining located on Niagara Falls Blvd in Wheatfield. Stanley and Lori Swogier (Swogier Construction) are chairing this fun party again this year. Please contact your suppliers to obtain gifts to make up the baskets. If they want to make a cash donation, Lori will purchase items for a basket from them. The price is being finalized at this time and will be announced in a special Christmas bulletin along with the menu. A full course sit down dinner will be served this year as many of you have requested. In the meantime, circle your calendar for December 8th for a great evening. Also please contact Lori and offer your assistance in securing gifts and helping her to make up the baskets.
