They will be speaking on Legislative Issues - Good and Bad and the status of NYSBA Liability Insurance. Bob will cover all aspects of his job including the various insurance programs offered by NYSBA as well as other subjects. This meeting should be quite informative and we are hoping for a great attendance. As we mention each month, reservations are extremely important to provide for proper seating arrangements and food preparation. The cost of our dinner will be $20 inclusive. Final date to reserve is Friday, June 3, 2005. Please make yours by calling Cathy at our new office (693-5736) or E.O. Jim Fitzpatrick at 283-0557. Events

Enclosed with today's bulletin is a flyer explaining "Family Day" at Darien Lake, which your association is co-sponsoring with the Buffalo-Niagara Builders Association & The Home Improvement Council of Western New York. For only $25 per person you get all day park admission plus lunch and four hours of beverages. This will be a great opportunity for your kids, friends, and your employees' kids to enjoy a fun filled day. You will note that all tickets are being handled by Donna at the HIC office.

Also enclosed you will find our new pamphlet showing the benefits of belonging to the NCBA. It includes an application for membership. It would be great to see a number of new applications from this source. Thank you Skip Mazenauer and Niagara Frontier Publications for a great job.

Picnic

Mark your calendar now to reserve August 25th (Thursday) for our picnic. Chairman Larry Quigliano indicates that everything is going great for this fun day. Larry needs someone to secure corporate sponsors (cost $100) to keep the picnic affordable. Remember, you can save $5 by paying for your tickets in advance, $35 vs $40. For this small amount you get hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, corn, salads and steamed clams early in the day. A steak or rack of ribs will be served about 6:00 PM. We also need someone to run the games. We would like to see a few more games this year and an earlier start hopeflly. Please give Larry a call at 622-1093 and offer your assistance in any manner you are able. A special bulletin will be sent to all members in June. Almost forgot -- it will be held at West Canal Park in Pendleton (same place as the past two years).

Niagara Frontier Country Club Here We Come

Our annual golf tournament chaired by Jim Kuryak of Niagara National Insurance will be held on Monday July 11th at Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown. Cost to participate is $100, and is strictly limited to the first 84 people who sign up and remit payment. We are in need of tee and green sponsors at a cost of $100, as well as items for our goodie bags (golf balls, tees, hats, etc). A special golf bulletin with complete details and the registration form will be mailed out next week.

Thank you Gary Pollard (Pollard Windows) for your early response reserving 2 golf outing spots, 2 picnic tickets and a picnic sponsor.

Festival of Homes 2005

Our annual home show will be held at scattered sites in Niagara County in the fall. Dates are September 17-18, 24-25 and October 1-2. Co-Chairs Bill Burg (Alside Siding and Windows) and Rachel Leo (Kitchen World) indicate the show is moving along as expected. At the present time we have six homes scheduled and a possible seventh one. Hopefully we can get another couple by the June 1 cutoff date. The next home show committee meeting is June 1st, beginning with coffee etc at 8:45 AM at JT Wheatfields. At this time your $1,500 fee is due along with the executed Builders agreements you previously received. Any questions please call Bill at 297-1118 / 870-1437 or Rachel at 434-5606 / 628-1813.

See you on the 8th.

James Fitzpatrick
Executive Officer
