For Your Information (FYI) Remodeling expenditures saw record growth in 2004. NAHB reports that remodeling projects in the US increased over 12% from 2003, and is expected to continue the same pace or better this year. Americans spent almost $200 billion last year compared to just over $176 billion in 2003. The main reason for this large volume of remodeling is due to rising home prices making it better to remodel than to sell plus favorable interest rates on refinancing and on home equity loans. Parade of Homes 2005 The Parade of Homes 2005 is moving right along according to Co-Chairs Bill Burg from Alside Windows and Doors and Rachel Leo from Kitchen World. Our show will be held on September 17-18, September 24-25, and October 1-2, 2005. All homes will be open from noon until 5:00 PM on these three weekends. Participants in the show include: Rosal Construction Co. Inc. David Homes Prestige Design Ryan Homes Greentree Builders (formerly Barden Homes) See you on the 14th. James Fitzpatrick |
